About
time traveling|headstone hunting|photo detective
You may call it genealogy but I look at it more like time traveling as I investigate the past. What is a head-hunter? When I plan road trips I research all the cemeteries along the way, is that normal? I can't help but laugh when I think about the people in these photos that I'm gathering and documenting. That second in time when the picture was taken, if they knew that one photo would be the one shared for generations, I wonder if they would have worn a different shirt.
Hi, I'm Sheri
This is my site
Besides catching a flight on the Millennium Falcon, if I could do anything it would be a time traveler. Since I doubt Hahn Solo is stopping by and I haven't found a portal to take me back in time, I will have to rely on genealogy to fill the space. Headstone hunting, and photo detective work help me time travel!
I like to put on my investigator hat to make it more authentic.
Since I've got to start somewhere, I'm starting with my parents because as we've established if you are my cousin that means your parent is one of my parent's siblings which means they have the same parents. So just hang on for a minute until we get to our grandparents.

What this site isn't.
This site is a history of the common ancestors. A common ancestor is a shared direct ancestor, such as a parent, grandparent, great-grandparent ect. It's the most recent individual from which all the people in the group are directly descended. A direct ancestor isn't an uncle, aunt, or cousin.
You have to figure out where your common ancestor is.
How To Navigate
This site might be confusing, so pay attention...I'm starting with me, and tracing my direct ancestors. Split into my maternal and paternal. This is where you come in...By default, we have some of the same common ancestors.
If you are here, one of our common ancestors will be one of the below.
Remember, this site is always in progress and under construction.
Email me if you see any errors or have anything to add. I will gladly accept any documents, photos, stories of you or your ancestors.
